  • A flat felled seam is the preferred seam in jeans, men's and women's shirts and children's casual garments. The advantage of a flat felled seam is that the seam allowances are encased within the seam
  • The groove in the sole of the foot allows it to run and fell an 8mm wide seam easily and precisely
  • Foot #71 is well suited for medium to heavy weight fabrics such as denim, wool, corduroy and tapestry
  • for light weight fabrics, Foot #70 (4mm Lap Seam Foot) is recommended.

Fits all the modern electronic models like Artista, Aurora, Virtuosa & Activa.

This foot does not fit old mechanical Bernina machines including Bernina 1008.
